  1. The best marketing campaigns challenge an obvious truth or uncover clarity and truths we barely discuss.

  2. Your campaign goals define your platforms/channels.

  3. Track social trends not to chase them, especially if they aren’t a brand fit – but to understand the bigger picture in which you operate.

  4. Build your content calendar around your brand goals, not trends or culture.

  5. View your social insights through the lens of your audience. That’s how you validate if it’s an unmet need.

  6. No feelings without data, no data without feelings.

  7. Advertising is an act of suspending your ego and bias.

  8. Content is always viewed within a context. It is never viewed in a vacuum.

  9. Customer interviews are useful when you get specific answers or anecdotes.

  10. Digital is a signal booster for real-life brand moments.

Here’s a funny thing about books.

You can read them and think and study all you want.

But unless you are out doing something and making things happen it won't help you at all.
